O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Your leaves are so unchanging
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Your leaves are so unchanging
Not only green when summer’s here
But also when it’s cold and drear
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Your leaves are so unchanging
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Your lights they shine so brightly
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Your lights they shine so brightly
From base to summit, warm and bright.
Their shining stirs our heart’s delight
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Your lights they shine so brightly.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
Your beauty brings us pleasure.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Remind us of this treasure.
That God the Holy, ever green
In Bethlehem came to be seen
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Remind us of this treasure.
