Visio with a Garden

by Catherine Smith | Aug 23, 2024

Tall, thin stems with vibrant pink wildflowers stand out against a soft-focus, green and tan garden background, creating a dreamy, natural scene.

Sometimes summer seems to move at a pace that creates a blur. Lectio Divina offers a way of clarifying the movements and images of our days. We open ourselves to the wisdom waiting for our hearts in the garden. We slow down, we deepen, we rest, we are called.

You can choose a garden to which you are physically present or one that grows in your memory or imagination. As you move through the guided movements of Lectio, pause the recording whenever you feel the desire to linger and resume as you are ready. May your pause be spacious.
